David Eugene Tienter, 79, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away August 20, 2024.
Dave was born to Harold and Virginia (Bammert) Tienter in Preston, Minnesota on November 11, 1944. Dave married Cecelia Anne Bryan on June 22, 1991.
After high school Dave entered the U. S. NAVY, becoming a Corpsman and proudly served in Viet Nam. Following his service, he graduated from Northwestern College in Iowa and then obtained his masters degree at Western Illinois University. He retired in 1996 from the Social Security Administration as a Paralegal Specialist.
Dave was a beloved member of St. Lucie Catholic Church and DAV. Dave loved carving wood. Dave was an accomplished bowler achieving a 300 game, played pool in the APA National Tournament in Las Vegas. He was also a published author who enjoyed fishing, when he had the time.
Survivors include his beloved Anne of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Anna (Tienter) Boom (Jessey Bailey) of Wildberg, Germany and Jennifer (Frank) Zipperer of Round Rock, TX; sisters, Peg (Denny) Brusse of Preston, MN and Christine Heruth of Rochester, MN. He will be greatly missed by his 4 grandchildren, Kate Beard (Cameron), Mathew Zipperer, Laura Boom, Ellie Boom and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Virginia Tienter as well as sister, Virginia Wyatt.
