David “Rat” Trudell, 65, died July 20, 2015 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Trudell was born in Plant City, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce 60 years ago coming from Michigan.
He worked for the St. Lucie County School Board for 28 years and was a Mason. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, member of Fort Pierce Church of the Nazarene and was the best Pappy in the world.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Delta Trudell of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Chad (Sharon) Trudell of Port St. Lucie, FL and Todd (Shannon) Trudell of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Maryann Trudell of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Jack Going of Plant City, FL; siblings, RickyTrudell, Kenny Trudell, Jimmy Trudell, and Mary Ellen Donghia all of Fort Pierce, FL, Peggy Pippin, Debbie Solomon, and Diane Keen all of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Logan, Lacey, Trent, and Tori. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Going.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery
