David Wayne Willems

David Wayne Willems was born August 31,1958 in Fort Pierce to Donald and Joan Willems. He lived in Fort Pierce his entire life.

After a year and a half battle of fighting cancer, our brother, son, dad, uncle and dearest friend
passed away January 16, 2014 at his parents home with his family by his side.

David attended St. Anastasia School and graduated from John Carroll High School Class of 1977. He worked most of his life for his father with the family business -Don Willems Builder Inc. He attended St Anastasia Catholic Church and was a faithful attendant of the 9:30 Mass. David loved the outdoors. He loved fishing and boating. Most of all, David loved being with his family. His greatest joys of his life were his two sons David and Trevor. He was also very proud to be the god father of his nephew James Clasby jr.

David is survived by his parents Don and Joan Willems, his two sisters Tama Clasby and Tanya Knappman, his four brothers Donnie, Teddy, Jon and Marty Willems, his fiancé Donna Roberts,
two sons David Bankston and Trevor Willems, brothers-in-law David Clasby and Jay Knappman,
sisters-in-laws, Shirley, Dawn, Sandra and Rhonda Willems, 5 nieces Brittany Chance, Jilian and Megan Clasby, Courtney Collins, and Chloe Willems, lots of nephews: James Clasby Jr., Jarryd Knappman, Donnie III, Brandon, Teddy, Colton, Kristian, Logan, Kyle, Cody and Jon Jr Willems &
Rennen and Reinaldo Rocha. Also, 5 great-nieces and nephews Emilia Collins, Sebastian, Rolin, Cain, and Paisley Willems, lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
