Mrs. Berger-Evans was born in Miami, Florida and was a long time resident of Port St. Lucie before recently moving to Morehead City.
Denise was a bookkeeper for over 20 years. She loved fishing and enjoyed her Treasure Coast living. She was a loving mother and provider.

Evans of Morehead City, NC; parents, Ann Nelson and husband, Don of Port St. Lucie, FL and Herbert Berger and wife, Dottie of Palm Beach, FL; children, Jacqueline Perry and husband Joe of Port St. Lucie, Nicole Carus of Port St. Lucie, FL, Timothy Evans of Morehead City, NC, Samantha Evans of Morehead City, NC; brother, Scott Berger and wife, Michelle of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Sandi Tasch of Hobart, IN and Suzi Wabuda of Hobart, IN; stepsister, Diane Dube of Windham, NH; uncle, Hugh Conaghan and wife, Linda of Miami, FL; aunt, Kathy Perryman of Pembrook Pines, FL; uncle, Harvey Berger and wife, Anita of Miami, FL.
Services: A gathering will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 1-2 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Haisley Family Center.
