Dennis Clyde Nelson, 76, died March 15, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Nelson was born in Binger, Oklahoma and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1958 coming from Jacksonville, Florida.
Dennis was an electrician in the aircraft industry and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and was a Deacon at the Parkview Baptist for several years.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, June Nelson of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, David W. Nelson of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Joan Ellingson of Visalia, CA, Julie Seeley of Tulare, CA, Mary Gipson of Visalia, CA, Kathy Kengle of Tulare, CA, and Anna Norton of Williamsburg, NM; brothers, Keith Daniels of Madera, CA, Jack Daniels of Bend, OR and Harold Daniels of Redding, CA; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis I. Nelson, mother, Oleta Daniels, brother, Theodore Nelson, and sister, Martha Ramirez.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Westside Baptist Church, 3361 South Jenkins Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
