Devin Scott Herndon

Devin Scott Herndon, age 25, passed away on May 5, 2013 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born and raised in Fort Pierce.

Devin was a student at Indian River State College, pursuing his bachelor’s degree. He loved working out, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his step-son Bradyn Peters. He was a Swimmer at Lincoln Park. He loved Bambi his miniature greyhound. He was a motivator; always pushing those he loved to be their best!

He is survived by his mother, Shari Johnson Sewell of Fort Pierce, FL; step-father, John Sewell of Fort Pierce, FL; step-son, Bradyn Peters of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Greg Herndon, Jr., of Fort Pierce, FL and Jason Sabater (US Navy) stationed in Japan; sister, Jordin Sabater of Fort Pierce, FL; step-sisters, Ashley and Kayla Sewell; grandmother, Wanda Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL, grandfather, Bobby Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL; grandmother, Joyce Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL; grandfather, Bob Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL; uncles, Kevin Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL and Robert Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL; aunt, Jamie Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL, cousin, Brianne Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL; and step-father who helped raised him, Jorge Sabater. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Herndon.
