Diane Marie Jennings 

Diane Marie (Batcha) Jennings, 59, died August 11, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Alliance, Ohio and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She graduated from Warren Western Reserve, Class of ’83. She then went onto Youngstown State University and received her bachelor’s degree & master’s degree in teaching. Diane started teaching in 1988 and taught for 25 years. 

Diane loved to help people, especially her students. She was passionate about education and helping her students with learning disabilities. She enjoyed going to the beach, baking, and her pet rabbits. She was a second mother to a lot of people and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include her children, Anthony Jennings of Fort Pierce, FL, and Lana Jennings of Fort Pierce, FL; former husband, Bernie Jennings of Port St. Lucie, FL; and sisters, Mary Bilger of Saratoga, CA and Kathy Batcha of Dallas, TX.

Services: Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
