Diane E. Sessoms, 80, died December 22, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Sessoms was born in Bowling Green, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Diane graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1961.  She loved camping, fishing, island hopping, and spending time on Lake Okeechobee.  Diane also loved reading books and gossip magazines, watching reality T.V., and listening to country music.  She was always there for her kids and grandchildren. She took a job at Fort Pierce Central High School and worked in the cafeteria for 15 years so she could be on the same schedule as her children.  She was a firecracker and is now in Heaven playing the slot machines with Dad again.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Dan Pollack) Mathews of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Steve (Trina) Sessoms of Port St. Lucie, FL and Tim (Sue) Sessoms of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, James Renie, David Collison, Adam Pollack, Conor Pollack, Emily (Sam) Serkin, Erica Sessoms, Steven Sessoms; great-grandchild, Dylan Renie; and best friend, Joyce Crooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Sessoms, 2 brothers, and grandson, Jacob Sessoms.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
