DieuVillard “John Boy” Fleurimond was born Sept 11, 1945 in Saint Louis, Du Nord, Haiti and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. He came to the United States to live his dreams and worked day and night to provide for his family. Villard was a well-educated man that spoke four different languages (Creole, French,
English & Spanish).
As a father he provided so much to help his kids through life and school. He was a strict father and husband but he meant well. He became a father of six and continued to give them a decent life. After years went by he moved to Ft. Pierce with his cousin DuVilla Myrtil and became employed with Orchard Orange Juice. Villard was a well-known man and very highly respected by others. He received multiple achievements for being a dedicated employee. He later, brought over his wife and kids in 2006 to the United States and helped them have a better future. He was a dedicated husband, father, hardworking man and an honest friend. The Lord called on him to come home after he fulfilled his purpose on Earth. He laid to rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 @ 10:50pm at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
He leaves behind his wife, Erzumaine Toussaint Fleurimond; brother and sister, Saint Fran Fleurimond and Solange Fleurimond; children, Fritz, Villair, Violaine, Judith, Villanise, Kadolaine, & Villamar; grandchildren: Jenelle, Elijah, Jahyem, Fonda, Aylanie, Philoria, De’Nysha, Mehki, Jha’Lyehia, Da’Nize; nieces and nephews, cousins, DuVilla & Marie Myrtil, Serge Fleurimond, Marie Fleurimond and family and friends.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be conducted on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphie SDA Church, 2310 South 29th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34952. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
