Mrs. Futch was born in Elon College, North Carolina and moved to St. Lucie County in 1972 and resided in Ft. Pierce until March 29, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Futch of Ft. Pierce, FL; children, George Ivey of Okeechobee, FL, Avilea Willis of Ft. Pierce, FL, Patrick Ivey of Ft. Pierce, FL, Laurence Ivey of Ft. Pierce, FL, Dolly Hunter of Stuart, FL, and Rene Baker of Ft. Pierce, FL; two brothers, John Adams of Hampton, FL and Robert Adams of Titusville, FL; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Orange Avenue Baptist Church, 100 Cyclone Drive, Ft. Pierce. Family and friends will gather at 5:00 PM and the memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM, reception immediately following.
