Dan was a security guard for Ballantrae Yacht Club in Port St. Lucie. He was a loving father, grandfather, son and friend.
Survivors include his daughters, Lynnette Melendez and Bianca Melendez, of Fort Pierce, FL, Jazmin Martinez, of Chicago, Misty Melendez, of California; sons, Danny Melendez, of Avon Park, FL and Jermaine Melendez, of Chicago; mother, Carmen Cruz-Viera, of Arizona; sister, Maria Melendez-Cruz, of Arizona and 8 grandchildren.
Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
