Don G. Butcher

Don Gene Butcher, 84, died October 23, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Mr. Butcher was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1949. He was the owner of Don Butcher & Sons Plumbing. He worked as a licensed Building Inspector for the City of Ft. Pierce for the last 10 years before retirement. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed trains, planes and ham radios. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Butcher of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Mike (Sharon) Butcher of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Dianne (Jerry) Bickford of Port St. Lucie, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
