Donald A. Brown

Donald A. Brown, 79, died August 19, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Brown was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1960 from Cleveland.He was an independent insurance agent in Fort Pierce for 40 years. He was the Captain of the charter boat, Barbydee; that operated for many years out of Ft. Pierce.Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Doris Brown of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters & sons-in-law, D.J. & Rob Gardner of Ft. Pierce, FL, Barbara Brown & Harry Castleman of Canton, MA, Terry & Ronnie Pierce of Ft. Pierce, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Bill & Ileana Strom of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Arlene Brooks of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Suzi Walsh of Gainesville, FL, Mike Niedermeyer of Orlando, FL, Claire Castleman of Canton, MA, Heidi Myers of Statesville, NC and Stephanie Dishman of Hiddenite, NC and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services: A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 1-3 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
