Donald Edward “Donnie” Jackson, 57, died June 1, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Jackson was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce 40 years ago coming from St. Augustine, Florida.
He worked as a frame attendant for AT&T phone company for many years but recently was a fruit inspector for the U.S.D.A. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1976, member and usher of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, coached Little League, Boy Scout troop leader, President of the P.T.O. at Lakewood Park, member of C.H.R.P., and member of the Telecom Pioneers.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sheba L. Jackson of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Jeremy E. Jackson of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Wanda Williams of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Carolee Edenfield of Hastings, FL; step-father, Willie Edenfield, Sr. of Hastings, FL; several nieces and nephews and a beloved great niece, Hailey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Edenfield, Jr.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 4-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
