It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Frazier, 65, of Kissimmee, Florida, on January 4, 2025 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Don managed his illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his family.
Don was born in Glendale, CA to William and Carol Frazier and was raised with his siblings, Elizabeth and Richard. As a teen, he loved spending his time with his friends and doing gymnastics. When he graduated high school at 16, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served for 5 years, most of it in Bentwater, England. He became a Christian while in England, and when he left the Air Force, he attended Lee University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biblical education. After graduation, he became interested in the new world of personal computers. He went back to school at Edmonsen Junior College and graduated with an associate’s degree in computer programming and data processing. This second degree sparked his passion for the field of computer programming and science, and he spent the rest of his career working in the field of computers and technology.
While at Lee University, in 1983, he met Sheila Chambers. They fell in love and married a year later in 1984. They had two children, Amber Dawn and Micaiah Joel Frazier. As a family they loved camping and traveling. Being a good father was of the utmost importance to Don, and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family.
Don and Sheila divorced in 2010 but remained close friends throughout the years. Don is survived by his daughter, Amber Dawn Frazier; his two grandchildren; his sister, Beth Parsons; his brother, Richard Frazier; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his son, Micaiah Joel Frazier.
Visitation will be held on January 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A graveside service will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. Please join his family in celebrating the life of this incredible man.
