Don, 85, died April 27th 2007 peacefully at his home. He was born in Wilmington Delaware April 6th,1922. On January of 1983 Don and his Wife Jean moved from Decatur, Tennessee to Fort Pierce, Florida.Don served in World War II as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division jumping in Normandy on D-Day, as well as Holland and through the Battle of the Bulge resulting in Four Purple Hearts, Three Bronze Stars, several commendations and a Battlefield Commission.
Survivors include his Wife and Best Friend, Jean (Dot) Barlowe of Fort Pierce; Son, Eric Barlowe of Fort Pierce; Daughter, Linda Licari of Vero Beach; Brother-in-law, Enoch Schwartz and Niece, Karen Schwartz both of Laurel, De; Three Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren.
