Mr. Tanner was born in Olean, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1973 coming from Arcade, New York.
He was an auto mechanic for Skyline Goodyear and Tire Service for over 20 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his brother, Thomas Tanner of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Gloria Bookmiller of Yorkshire, NY; host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melfred and Elizabeth Tanner, brother, William Tanner and sister, Alice Milgate.
