Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He retired from Flowers Bakery.
Survivors include his son, Glenn Smith of Texas; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Smith and daughter, Joni Hamm.
Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 2-3 PM with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
