DONALD O. WHIGHAM
Donald O. Whigham, 82, died March 31, 2012 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
“Big Don” was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1984, coming from Pittsburgh, PA.
He served with the US Marines during the Korean War, receiving the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins, enjoyed boxing and music.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Whigham of Cranberry Township, PA, Gary Whigham of Port St. Lucie, FL, John Whigham and Greg Whigham both of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Linda Maroney and Nancy W. Arledge both of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Neil Whigham of Bentlyville, PA and Dale Whigham of Lower Burrell, PA; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Haisley Chapel. A Service will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 11:00 A.M. in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Following the Service, burial will take place at White City Cemetery.
