Donald Reed Pierce, 70, died October 7, 2023 in Stuart, Florida.

Mr. Pierce was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Donald attended local public schools, Indian River Community College and the University of Florida. He loved boating and fishing, animals of all kinds, his family and friends, and helping neighbors in need. 

Survivors include his wife, Marjory Ash Pierce of White City, FL; sister, Diane Osteen of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Claire Pierce and Emily Pierce both of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Charles Pierce of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Michael Humphrey of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters-in-law, Wini (George) Johnson, Barbara (Ron) Bush of Stuart, FL, Margaret Ash of White City, FL, Mary Young of Stuart, FL, and Dorothy (Tom) Dick of Stuart, FL; honorary grandson, Charles Mercado; nieces, Melanie (Chris) Trestle, Sharon (Wade) Newsom and Lacey (Mike). He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Pierce, mother, Jackie Pierce, in-laws, Charles & Marjory Ash, brothers-in-law, Paul Young and Roger Osteen and niece, Sarah Ciccarelli.
