Donald “Donnie” Glenn Ross, 72, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on June 20th, 2021.
Donnie was born on January 31st, 1949, in Henderson, Vance County, North Carolina, to Douglas H. Ross and Ruby Woodard Ross. He attended Virginia Beach High School.
Donnie married Joan Osorio Ross on August 8th, 1992. He was a journeyman plumber for UA Local 469 in Phoenix, AZ, and he owned Broadway Trailer Park. He enjoyed horses, roping, and trail riding. In addition, he liked weightlifting, golf, and ATVs.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Osorio Ross of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Michael D. Ross of Seattle, WA; son, Jason C. Ross of Fort Collins, CO; daughters Kristina M. Ross, Elizabeth A. Ross, Jennifer L. Ross, and Karen E. Ross, all of Phoenix, AZ; stepson, Keith Appis of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepdaughter, Kimberly Ann Appis of Mount Pleasant, SC; granddaughter, Helena Ross of Seattle, WA; granddaughter Demetra Ross of Fort Collins, CO; and grandson Scout Emerson Appis of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Donnie is predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Ruby Ross, and his brother, Tony Sherrill Ross, Sr., all of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
