Donald W. Stanfield, age 76, died in Fort Pierce, FL on December 15, 2008. He was born in Winston County, Alabama and moved to Fort Pierce in 1946, coming from Winter Haven, FL.
He was a dump truck driver for a construction company. He loved listening to country music and playing the bass guitar. He enjoyed woodworking and other crafts.
He is survived by his son, Donnie Lee Stanfield, of Fort Pierce; his daughter, Brenda Hawthorne, of Okeechobee, FL; his sister, Shirley Googe of Fort Pierce, FL; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 18th at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, from 5 – 8 PM. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home, on Friday, December 19th, at 11 AM. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
