Donald G. Yates, 61, died January 8, 2016 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Yates was born in Gadsden, Alabama and moved to Fort Pierce 33 years ago coming from
Auburn, Alabama.
He was the head instrument repair technician at Russell Music Company of Fort Pierce for 10 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the NRA, Jaycees, and 32 degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia R. Yates of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Andrew G. Yates of Fort Pierce, FL and Daniel (Jessica) Yates of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, James A. Yates of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Kelsi Kula, Brianne Yates, Brodrick Burns, Jaxson Robertson, Madison Robertson, and Lillian Yates.
Memorial contributions may be made to the D.A.V., P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
Services: A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
