Donna Myers O’ Connell, 75, passed away on November 12, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. O’Connell was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
She graduated from Dan Mc Carty High School in 1960 and was a member of the Women’s Moose.
Donna was an amazing person who was liked by all who knew her. Donna grew up on the St. Lucie River enjoying all it entailed. Raw oysters on the dock, Fish Frys in the backyard. She was an excellent cook who loved to watch all of the food and cooking shows.Many of her friends knew her as "Sweet Donna", She loved to travel, was always ready for a road trip, threw a great party and made a great many mean cocktails. Donna had an infinite love of all animals.From her shelter poodle Cherie' which she took to "spa" once a week, her conure parrot whom she taught to call her daughter bad names, to her British Shorthair cats. Donna's true love was her family She was a loving and caring mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Wistner of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Al Herring of Port St. Lucie, FL and David Herring of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Barbara Sinbine of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Jeff Myers of Fort Pierce, FL; step-brother, Micky Cleveland of Tennessee and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
