Doris Elaine Sharp, 83, died November 30, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Sharp was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1949.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years in Fort Pierce. She was a Charter Member of White City United Methodist Church, member of the Women’s Club, sang in the choir at church for years and also ministered to the sick & shut-ins. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Howard M. Sharp of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Susan Givens of Jacksonville, FL, Judy A. Haney of Port St. Lucie, FL and Carol Ann Sharp of Fort Pierce, FL; and 4 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to White City United Methodist Church, 810 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 3-5 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
