Doris Irene Norman Lindsey died peacefully at home with family around her September 21, 2010 in Fort Pierce, FL.

She was born in Norman Park, GA December 29, 1918. She moved here from Moultrie in 1961.

She was a member of Orange Avenue Baptist Church since 1961 and was a previous Sunday School teacher for the Lamplighters Class.

She is survived by her sons, William Max Lindsey (Carolyn) of Moultrie, GA and Earl Lamar Lindsey (Linda) of Fort Pierce; daughters, Michelle Lindsey Cofer (Billy), Geneva Kindell of Fort Pierce and Janua Lindsey Young of Sebastian; brother, Cecil Norman Lindsey (Melba) of Albany, GA and sister, Ethel Norman (Cecil) Key of Moultrie, GA; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded by her husband, William Morris Lindsey and brothers, Rufus Norman and Jamie Norman.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 4-6 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Orange Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow White City Cemetery.
