Doris M. Sauer

Doris M. Sauer, 82, died June 11, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Sauer was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1955 coming from Buffalo, New York.She worked for the City of Fort Pierce Finance Department and retired in 1987 after 21 years. She was a volunteer Pink Lady at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for many years. Doris and her husband were Charter members of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.Survivors include her loving niece and nephew, Kathryn and Robert Orlowski of Syracuse, NY; nephew, William F. Moss III (Dorothy) of South Carolina; niece, Nancy Davenport of Georgia She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Sauer and brothers, Charles Moss and William Moss II.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL 34982.Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 5-8 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at White City Cemetery.
