Doris S. Wheeler

Doris “Dee” Wheeler, 66, died March 6, 2010, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Doris was born in Richmond, Virginia, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1979.

She was an LPN in health care, a member of Faith United Fellowship Church in Vero Beach, FL, founder of the Red Hat Society – Sassy Ladies of Laurel Point, worked for A Moments Notice as a nurse in Vero Beach for several years.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Parmelee of Fort Pierce, FL and brother, Bobby Stockner of Amelia, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stella Ruth Stockner and Harold Stockner and sister, Frances Burcham.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Southeast Florida Chapter, Inc., 75 N. E. 6th Avenue, Suite 110, Delray Beach, Florida 33483.

Private Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Services.
