Mrs. Sapp was born in Coffee County, Alabama and moved to Okeechobee in 2000 coming from Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Fountain & husband, Anthony Fountain of Okeechobee, FL; 2 grandchildren, Destie and Ronald Hawthorne; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Sapp and daughter, Martha Hawthorne.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 12:30-1:30 PM with a service to follow at 1:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
