Dorothy Arnold Mccown

August 19, 1917 — March 29, 2004

Mrs. McCown was born in Hamilton, Massachusetts and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1951 coming from Melrose, MA.She was a homemaker and former co-owner of the Causeway Mobile Home Park, Ft. Pierce for 17 years. She was a private pilot and a charter member of the Florida Flying Grasshoppers, a ladies only flying organization. Dorothy was also a member of the Noble-ettes, St. Lucie County Shrine Club, Daughters of the Nile-Aquarius Temple #138, Ruth Chapter No. 7 O.E.S., as well as a founding member of the Fort Pierce Art League.Survivors include her son, Mark Richard Arnold of Niceville, FL; daughter, Betty A. Moore of Ft. Pierce, FL; granddaughters, Valerie and Stephanie Moore both of Ft. Pierce; grandsons, Staff Sgt. David Musco U.S.A.F. of Colorado Springs, CO, and Thomas Musco of Destin, FL; she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W.
