Dorothy M. Cuccia

Dorothy M. Cuccia, 85, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on October 3, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born on October 10, 1934 in West New York, New Jersey to Angelo and Grace Romano. She married Joseph Cuccia on September 26, 1953 and moved to Florida, where they lived happily until his passing in 2016.

She considered herself a Domestic Engineer as she could be found keeping a beautiful home, baking apple pies and holiday cookies for family, friends, and neighbors. Caring for her family was her specialty, she did this selflessly and lovingly always creating memories that we will cherish forever. A genuine Proverbs 31 woman for sure.

Survivors include; daughters, Deborah (Charles) Roberson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Linda (James) Koenig of Boca Raton, FL; son, Joseph (Janet) Cuccia of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Joseph Cuccia of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Dina Mitchell of Houston, TX, Michael Koenig of Delray, Fl, Amy Koenig and James Koenig both of Boca Raton, FL, Ravi, Deven, Vallari, and Jayden Roberson all of Port St. Lucie, FL; great-grandchildren, Denise, Emily, Joelle Cuccia of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Allie Koenig of Delray, FL. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Cuccia and granddaughter, Lori Ann Depczynski.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 3PM to 5PM with a service to start at 5PM at Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, Fl 34984. A committal service will be held for the family on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:30PM at the South Florida National Cemetery.
