Dorothy Judith Smith, 71, died November 2, 2014, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Dorothy was born in Marlton, New Jersey, raised in Delaware and moved to Florida with her family while in Junior High School. She graduated from Dan McCarty High School, Ft. Pierce, FL, where she met her late husband, Carey W. Smith. She was a bookkeeper for 21 years at Ft. Pierce Bowl, loved planning events for the leagues and working with kids that came to bowl. She loved being around her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Catherine D. Smith (William K. Smith) of Kentucky and Cynthia M. Liss (David Liss) of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Stephan W. VanDeventer of Ft. Pierce, FL, Cheyenne M. Cruz of Kentucky and Brandon M. Liss of Vero Beach, FL; great-grand child, Lance R. VanDeventer of Tennessee; siblings, Vincent B. Consalo, Sr. of Florida, Mildred Pollock of New Jersey, Harry Consalo, Sr.of Delaware, Laura Wray of Orlando, FL, Doris Semans of Delaware, Edward Consalo of Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carey W. Smith, parents Joseph Consalo, Sr. and Laura Shuhart Consalo, brother Joseph Consalo and sister, Rita Biehl.
