Dr. Roland L. Mayberry, 73, died April 7, 2010 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Dr. Mayberry was born in Gastonia, North Carolina. He graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill with a degree of dentistry. He retired as a Lt. Col in the Air Force Reserve and retired from dentistry and moved to Key West where he received the degree of Honorary Conch issued by the Mayor of Key West. He worked at the Mark’s House and Help Line while living in Key West before moving to Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his sisters, Deree Hand of Columbia, SC and Debbie Johnson of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, David Mayberry of Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Ola Mayberry and brother, Brent Mayberry.
