Earl J. Rouse

Earl J. Rouse, 77, died April 9, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Rouse was born in Hamilton, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1975 coming from Mayport, FL.Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce serving several years as a Deacon, was part of the Men’s Sunday School Class and also sang in the church choir for many years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy & U.S. Coast Guard retiring at the rank of CW05, and was a Life Member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Verna I. Rouse of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, John Rouse of Bullhead City, AZ; sisters, Bonnie Fowler of Ballwin, MO and Betty Henry of Palatka, FL; stepson, Bill (Elaine) Thomas of Miami, FL; grandsons, Scott Rouse of Bullhead City, AZ and Shane Thomas of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 4500 South 25th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34982 or to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
