Eddie William Burchfield, 67, died June 17, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Burchfield was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1983 coming from Aiken, South Carolina.
He was a local talk show host for many years, served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, and was an avid supporter of the WPSL Christmas Kids.
Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Helen Burchfield of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Paige Burchfield of Ft. Pierce, FL and Mary Burchfield of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Ted Burchfield of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepson, Mark Hendry of Canada; stepdaughter, Jamie Lawson of Canada; and 2 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to WPSL Christmas Kids, 4100 Metzger Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
