Edith Hendrixson Ward Gallant

Edith Hendrixson Ward Gallant, 96, died September 28, 2008 in Titusville, Florida.Mrs. Gallant was born in Warren County, Tennessee and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1952 coming from Warren County and recently moved to Titusville, Florida in 2003.
She was a member of the Midway Road Church of Christ.Survivors include her daughters, Sonya Mayfield of Dunnellon, FL, Queita Willison of Titusville, FL, Fredelene Ward-Gallant of Nashville, TN and Carolyn Lundy of Jennings, FL; son, Garry Gallant of Sierra, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ward, sons, David Ward, Jr. and Rayburn Ward, second husband, Floyd Gallant, and grandchild, “Tinky” Gallant.Memorial contributions may be made to the Midway Road Church of Christ, 3040 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 6-9 PM at High’s Funeral Home. A service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM at High’s Funeral Home, McMinnville, TN.
