Edith Marjie Adkins Van Avery

Edith had been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1954, coming from Vicksburg, MS.The Adkins family opened Adkins Jewelers in Fort Pierce in 1956 and relocated the business to Vero Beach in 1991.Survivors are her daughters, Euell Carter and husband Cecil of Fort Pierce, FL and Hettie James of Fort Pierce, FL; son, James Adkins and wife, Susan of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Burl Warnock of Vicksburg, MS and Johnny Warnock of Georgia; sisters, Wilma Ahearn and Sarah Sanders both of Vicksburg, MS, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husbands, Albert Adkins and Arnold Van Avery.
