Edith Paganucci, 97, died January 13, 2013 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Paganucci was born in Clinton, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1958 from Elmhurst, Illinois where she resided until 1989 before moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida.
She owned and operated La Madelon Motel in Fort Pierce for 13 years, from 1958-1971. She was an active member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church for many years and attended St. Lucie Catholic Church for 20 years and was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church Prayer Group for many years as well.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Guettler of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Dennis “Pag” (Veronica) Paganucci of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Denise Jacobazzi of Downers Grove, IL, John Clementi of Chicago, IL, Anthony Clementi of Chicago, IL, Jason Guettler of Chipley, FL, Jeffery Guettler of Delaware and Michael Lewis of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter and daughter, Dorothy Clementi.
