Edmond D. McCarthy, 74, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on July 17, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Edmond was born on July 18, 1946 in County Kerry, Ireland to Edward and Catherine McCarthy. Edmond moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 2015 coming from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Edmond was discharged honorably from the United States Army in 1968, after earning the National Defense Service medal and Good Conduct medal in Vietnam. He enjoyed many sports including, baseball, football, and basketball. Edmond was a loving husband and father.
Survivors include beloved wife of 50 years, Kathleen (Murray) McCarthy of Port St. Lucie, Florida; son, Brian (Kristin) McCarthy of Chevy Chase, Maryland; sisters, Joan McCay and Mary Reilly, both of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was predeceased by Kevin McCarthy in 2001.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 4PM to 6PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 5PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, Fl 34984.
