EDWARD C. BURROWS
Edward Christie Burrows, 95, died September 15, 2010, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was born in Englewood, New Jersey, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1955, coming from Saddle River Township, New Jersey.
He served in the U.S. Merchant Marine during WWII, worked for Ryder Truck Lines and was a member of the St. Lucie County Historical Society.
Survivors include his sons, Edward L. “Ted” (Linda) Burrows and David W. Burrows both of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Dorothy O’Dowd of Waldwick, New Jersey; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Burrows and grandson, John Eric Burrows, Sr.
There will be a Graveside Service on Monday, September 20th at 11:00 A.M. at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
