Edward F. McAllister, Jr., 58, died May 27, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. McAllister was born in Belle Glade, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce 25 years ago coming from West Palm Beach, Florida.He was an insurance agent for 30 years and was the owner/operator of Ed McAllister Insurance Agency of Ft. Pierce. He was an avid golfer.
He was a devoted father, companion, and friend. He was beloved by all, most of all by his family.Survivors include his companion, Penny Burch of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Jake McAllister of Seattle, WA; daughter & son-in-law, Sara (Gray) Ange of Ringgold, GA; son, Eric McAllister of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Lynne Broome of Lake Park, GA, Anna Jo Springfield of Clewiston, FL, and Rosemary Swan of Stuart, FL; stepsons, Matt Burch of Port St. Lucie, FL and Michael Burch of Washington, D.C.Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 1-2 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
