Edward Martin Lapenter

Edward Martin Lapenter, 92, died March 13, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Lapenter was born in Carlstadt, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1973 coming from Kinnelon, New Jersey.Prior to retirement, he was the Production Control Manager for Becton & Dickinson(B-D). He was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard, member and an usher for St. Mark’s Catholic Church, CPR instructor & taught First Aid in Jensen Beach, volunteered for the Ambulance Squad, former volunteer Fireman and Scout Master and member of the National Ski Patrol.Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Lapenter of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Roger Michael Lapenter of Ashland, WI and Thomas Andrew Lapenter of Ft. Pierce, FL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Edward Lapenter, Jr. and Robert I. Lapenter.Services: There are no services at this time.
