Mr. Wacyk was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Fort Pierce in 1984. Prior to retirement, he worked 40 years for Fellows Manufacturing Corporation in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he was Plant Superintendent.Mr. Wacyk was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church where he was an usher for 19 years and volunteered with their Bingo to raise money for the poor. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Indian River Council 3416 and served in the Army/AirForce during WWII for four years.Survivors include his second wife, Armine Guerriero of Fort Pierce, daughters, Carole DiMaio of Hallandale, Florida, Patricia Hill of Oakland, New Jersey, sons Thomas Wacyk of Aurora, Illinois and Edward Wacyk, Jr. of Waukegan, Illinois, 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister in Minnesota and brother in Chicago, Illinois.
