Eleanor Emily Riches (nee) Kelsey, 101, died July 18, 2009, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL coming from Pemberton, New Jersey, where she worked at the Times Advertiser Newspaper.
Eleanor and her husband, Basil, were original residents in Spanish Lakes One, Port St. Lucie, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Basil, sisters, Beatrice Kelsey Hunt and Mary Kelsey Marles, brother, Joseph Kelsey and grandson, Jeffrey Riches.
Survivors are her loving sons, Walter (Eleanor) Riches of Crossville, TN and Robert (Pam) Riches of The Villages, FL; niece and nephew, Barbara and Bill Metts of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Hiram (Diana) Kelsey of Southington, Ct; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Private Services were held for the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be sent to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
