Elena Finer

Elena Finer, 86, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully in her home May 31, 2023.

Elena will be reunited with her husband Bob, son, Dominic Amara, and daughter Karen, who preceded her passing. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Marie Pacheco, Santa Colagiovanni, and Yolanda Merenda.

She will be forever missed by her son-in-law, Ron and wife Kim and her beloved grandchildren, Janine (Laura) Amara, Danielle (Scott) Davagian, Joseph Mayo, John Santon, and Cathleen Santon, her dear great-grandchildren and many devoted nieces and nephews. Elena will be greatly missed by the objects of her affection: her two grand dogs, Remy, and Laddie.

Elena was born October 23, 1936 in Boston to Frank and Angelina Simili. Elena retired to Florida and the King's Isle community twenty-five years ago with her beloved husband and best friend, Bob. 

Elena loved bowling, playing cards, mahjong, and hand-foot rummikub as well as going to the casinos with her dear family and friends. Elena was a devoted Catholic and attended St. Lucie Catholic Church.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 9AM to 10AM with a Memorial service to begin at 10AM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
