Elijah White

July 10, 1948 — March 2, 2012

Elijah White, Sr., better known as “Mr. Chuck” passed away at his home in Fort Pierce, FL on March 2, 2012. Elijah “Mr. Chuck” White was born on July 10, 1948 to the late Rogers and Drucilla White.

He moved to Fort Pierce and worked in the Agricultural Industry as well as for the St. Lucie County Road Department until he became disabled. He was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years and a past member of Gideon Lodge #67, where he served as a Senior Deacon.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Rogers and Drucilla White, sister, Carrie White, and son Anderson Tate “Junior”.
He leaves to cherish his special loving memories: his beautiful & loving wife of 38 years; Benzenia White; four brothers: Rogers White, Jr., Albert White, Johnnie White, and Michael White, all of Daytona Beach, FL; seven sisters: Joann White, Martha White, Maccie White, Claira White, Alvenia White, Cheryl Henry White, all of Daytona Beach, FL, and Mary White of Jacksonville, FL; two sons: Anthony White, of Daytona Beach, FL, and Elijah White, Jr., of Port S. Lucie, FL; seven daughters: Benita White Johnson, of Daytona Beach, FL, Tammy Beauford, Doris White Mobley, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, Regina Freeman, of Jacksonville, FL, Mary King, Tanya White, and Tiffany White, all of Fort Pierce, FL; twenty-two grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at East Florida Primitive Baptist Temple, 3950 Juanita Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
