Elisabetta Grillo Russo

Elisabetta Grillo Russo, 88, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on December 30, 2020.

Elisabetta was born on September 27, 1932 in Terrasini – PA, Italy to Girolamo and Provvidenza Grillo. She married Vincenzo Russo on January 29, 1955 and moved to Michigan in October 1966. In July of 1992, Vincenzo and Elisabetta retired to Florida.

Elisabetta was known by her friends and family as Nonna or Bettina. Elisabetta was a beloved housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook for her large family. She was a devout Catholic and was never far from her Rosary.

Survivors include; son, Antonino Russo of Port St. Lucie, Florida; daughters, Anna DiMercurio and Provvidenza DiStefano both of Port St. Lucie, Florida; son, Girolamo Russo of Port St. Lucie, Florida; 7 grandchildren; Giuseppina Coleman, Lisa Marie McMullen, Vincent Michael Russo, Mario DiStefano Jr, Elena Elizabeth Maciejewski, Dominic Vincent Russo, and Jovani Angelo Russo; and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Antonino Grillo, Andrea Grillo, Angelo Grillo, Salvatore Grillo, Guiseppe Grillo, Sebastiano Grillo; sisters, Graziella Noto and Soura Maria Provvidenza. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Vincenzo; brothers, Bartolo Grillo and Domenico Grillo; and sister, Anna Adelfio.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4PM to 7PM with a Wake to begin at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church at 9:30AM Thursday, January 7, 2021. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Garden at 11:30AM.
