Elizabeth Ann Marsh

Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" (Bankston) Marsh passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 16, 2007.Betsy was born August 14, 1964 in Fort Pierce, Florida to Burt and Margaret Bankston. She lived her entire life in Fort Pierce. Betsy graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood High School in 1982.Shortly after her father passed away in December of 1997, she met, fell in love and married the love of her life, Andrew Marsh. Together they have two beautiful children, Jessica Ann (7) and Preston James (4). Betsy's most recent employment was as the office manager for the City Attorney's Office in Port St. Lucie, Florida for 15 years.pBetsy loved to fish, travel, walk on the beach and loved to cook for her family and friends. She had a zest for life and inspired almost everyone who met her.Betsy left behind her loving husband, Andrew, daughter Jessica Ann and son Preston James, her mother Margaret and Greg Crouch, brother Tim Bankston and Edie Jones, sister Barbara and Lawrence Rich, and nieces and nephews and great friends of the family, Cindy and Ted Crowell. She was preceded in death by her father Burt Bankston.Contributions can be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart Florida 34997 or the American Cancer Society.A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., Indian River Presbyterian Church ( 2499 Virginia Ave, Fort Pierce). A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
