Elizabeth Bell (Coffey) Green
Elizabeth Bell (Coffey) Green, 92, died September 11, 2023 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Green was born in Crawford, Georgia and came to Florida in 1948.
Elizabeth worked with the St. Lucie County School System for 28 years and worked at St. Anastasia Catholic School for the Extended Care Program for the children. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was also involved with the Women’s Bible Study Class and the children’s department for many years at the church.
Survivors include her brother, Thomas E. (Linda) Coffey of Otto, NC; daughter, Thelma G. Tipton; son, William O. (Helen) Green, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Parker Green; grandsons, Robert E. (Nikki) Tipton, Robin E. Tipton, Eddie Green and Joey (Ann) Green; granddaughters, Amy (Pat) Engle, Anna (Trent) Stewart, and Lisa Green; great-grandchildren, Peter Tipton, Bradley Tipton, Andrew Evans, Presley Tipton, and Robbie Boland; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Emory S. Coffey, mother, Lucy Esco Coffey, husband, William O. Green, son, Cecil E. Green, Sr., and sisters, Ruby Shackelford, Francis Novello, and Ruth Pratt.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
