Elizabeth “Betty” Langel, age 83, died on September 13, in Fort Pierce, FL.
She was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Langel was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and of St. Anastasia Women’s Club.
Survivors include her daughters, Janie Graulich of Coral Gables, FL, Dorothy A. Shaw of Ft. Pierce, FL and Laurie M. (Jack) Privateer of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Patrick J. (Barbara) Langel of Ft. Pierce, FL, John V. (Dana) Langel of Ft. Pierce, FL, Michael F. (Anita) Langel of Charlotte, NC and Christopher P. (Tracy) Langel of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Gerald Guettler of Bushnell, FL, Edward Guettler of Rockhill, NC, Bernie Guettler of Rutherfordton, NC, Karl Guettler of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Pat Shaughnessy of Kelowna, BC, Dorothy Guettler of Adrian, MI, Jeanie Lattner of Ft. Pierce, FL, Delores Fortnash of Bushnell, FL, Margaret Weincek of Bushnell, FL, Teresa Mock of Port Orange, FL, Kathleen Coney of Tallahassee, FL; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Langel, brother, Paul Guettler and parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anastasia School Endowment Fund, 401 S. 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 5-8 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
